Reality 3D is a 3D Modelling & Design resource, that specialises in creating virtual sets for Conference and Exhibition.
Producing rendered photorealistic images for client pitches and multimedia applications.
The managing director, Steve Grainger has worked in the events industry since leaving full time education back in the early 80's and has been trained by the Association of British Theatre Technicians. Specialising in lighting Design, Steve became frustrated that accurate visuals of proposed designs could not be sourced readily and if a 3D designer was found (for the right money), they had no knowledge of events. It was because of this, that Reality 3D was formed to address this niche market. Steve has always believed that lighting & set design should be integrated. "When a set designer and a lighting designer are engaged separatley on the same project, the two things don't gel right, excuse the pun". In early 2007, Reality 3D was incorporated and is now Digital Design & Media Ltd. T/A Reality 3D. "This will broaden the scope of the work done, moving into other areas that use the technology, for example video stings for corporate events and the development of 3D "eye tricks" as a fun medium".
The opportunity to experiment in a virtual 3D environment can feedback information on; positioning technical equipment, audience seating, sight lines and lighting.
